Working with a Civil Celebrant
If you are thinking of having a beautiful, unique, personal ceremony for your wedding, vow renewal or baby naming, contact me to arrange a no cost, no obligation meeting.
A Civil Celebrant can not conduct legal, registered ceremonies. To be legally married you will need to arrange a visit from the Registrar or attend the Registrars office prior to the ceremony. Visit the legal page for more info.
All Vow Renewals and Baby Namings do not need to have a registrar present although I will ensure that Births, Adoptions etc have been registered before proceeding.
We will discuss, in person if possible, and if not by Skype, or email, exactly what you are considering for your celebration. You will be fully appraised of all the possibilities that will suit your requirements to reflect your personal unique event , and I will offer initial responses to give you some ideas of how personal and bespoke your day can be.
I will enter your date in my diary and from our meeting you will have a 7 day period to consider if you want to go ahead with our thinking. You simply need to contact me within that seven day period to confirm the date.
If I do not hear from you within that period, the date will be released and there will be no further obligation between us.
Once the date is confirmed, your ceremony outline will be drafted for you and sent for your approval and amendments.
From this point, and on receipt of a £100 non-refundable deposit, I will offer you,
Unlimited email, telephone or Skype communication
A vast knowledge of literature and suitable readings
A bespoke ceremony unique to you in every way
Options to include any other shorter mini ceremonies such as Handfasting, Unity candle, Sands ceremony etc all at no additional cost
Where practical, an additional mini ceremony at your evening event for additional guests
A beautiful copy of the final ceremony
